Absolutely outperformed my expectations in every aspect. The full array LED backlighting is incredibly vivid. The apps are excellent, the WiFi setup was a snap. The 120H refresh rate handles fast action flawlessly. I found the picture to be so crisp and vivid with BluRay movies, it looked like I was looking out a window at the action rather than viewing on a flat screen at times. The contrast ratio (blacks) and viewing angle are superb. The sound is even above average….I run my audio through a Yamaha YSP-5100 sound projector. Once, my children had switched the audio back to the TV speakers, I was unaware of this for a minute, thinking my subwoofer had been disconnected instead! The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was the audio input configuration….no RCA outputs – optical, 1/8″ out, or HDMI out only.
This TV also has an integrated media player, it will play photos, music, or video from a USB drive, or from network storage on a home network…even DivX. Easily the best TV I have ever owned (not just the biggest) and a worthy centerpiece of my home theater set. 5 stars easily, 10 out of 10.
